1st Generation BBQ Pitmaster
Just about anyone who's tasted it will agree, barbecue can be a religious like experience when done right. Seth Swihart, founder of BBQ Trading Company, bought his first grill off of craigslist at 17 years old. It was a basic webber kettle charcoal grill. With little to no idea what he was doing he went to the store and bought 2 ribeye steaks for him and his girlfriend. Growing up idolizing chefs like Anthony Bourdain, Seth googled "how Anthony Bourdain cooks steak". It was amazing to him that it was 4 ingredients. Olive oil, salt, pepper, and fire. The steaks were cooked, devoured and the lifelong journey began there. Now several years later Seth has an obsession with the experimentation of how to make the best BBQ possible.
